Majesty, worship His majesty, by Jack W. Hayford © 1981, Rocksmith Music We are living in increasingly difficult days and trying times, but there is one thing we can do that brings the glory of God to bear upon sickness, worry, fear, doubt, need, and sorrowand that is to worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Worship is not just about music; its about turning our hearts to praise Him, to respond to Gods invitation that we come and worship Him, to give Him the space to move in among us. Over twenty years ago, Pastor Jack Hayford wrote the song "Majesty" which has since become a classic and been sung around the world. Recently "Majesty" was voted one of the Ten Best Worship Songs of all time by readers of Christianity Today. In writing "Majesty" Pastor Hayford has said that his purpose was to deepen our hearts in the understanding of what worship is all about, and to capture two things:
"What He wants us to do as we praise Him," says Pastor Jack, "is to say, Lord, You have made me glad; and You will make me triumph through the work of Your hands." At the conclusion of this years Conference on Spirit-Filled Living in May 2002, The Church On The Way presented an entire evening of worship and praise under the banner of "Majesty Let The Fire Fall" with narration by Pastor Jack and a thrilling choir and orchestral presentation led by Dr. Tom McDonald. This two-cassette tape, SoundWord Tape #M4970, is available from Living Way Ministries or by calling (800) 776-8180. Listen to the song "Majesty" Copyright © 2002 Jack W.
